I project managed a group of designers and developers in our efforts to develop a new kind of game prototype for the digital marketing agency Work @ Play. During our three months, we conducted research with a wide group of people and analyzed video footage in order to understand how a second screen game experience focused their attention. I oversaw client presentations and iterative prototypes, helping demonstrate our findings and progress. At the end of our research project, we delivered a high fidelity prototype of a game entitled “aMAZEd” and a low fidelity prototype of a second game to Work @ Play.
We also included a white paper outlining key principles in interaction design that we learned, if one plans on creating a game that can be enjoyed with both a main television and secondary mobile device. This project ultimately helped our client secure a lucrative deal with a game publisher later in the year.
